Originally created as Joe's bucket-list wish—to leave behind an album for his wife and children—the project became a powerful testimony of faith, hope, and redemption. Joe felt compelled to record what he describes as "...the most important discovery of his life." After being told he had only a 1% chance of survival, Joe experienced a miraculous turn of events and lived to tell the story—both spiritually and physically—through these songs and his testimony. Joe says his personal encounter with Jesus Christ is where his world turned completely upside down and he discovered the true source of all peace, forgiveness, love, and healing.

The name 'The Chief Cornerstone' comes from Scripture, where Jesus Christ is described as becoming The Chief Cornerstone — the foundation upon which faith and life are built.
